Scoring an actual campsite was not an easy thing to do, and I had pretty much resigned myself to camping outside of the park and just day tripping in. But I tried one last time and managed to get a site right on the beach! Only one night was available, no electric and no water and I grabbed it.

It was great to be right on the beach. I had the camper windows open and the breeze was so nice I never even turned on the generator for a.c.

And the ponies!! They were everywhere. They walk right through the campground, hang out at individual sites, go down by the ocean and don't seem to be bothered at all by us gawking humans. It's hard to put into words how wonderful the experience was, but I took a ton of pictures. Hopefully, you'll all get the gist.
