This Doesn't Suck...

The last few days have been absolute heaven for Bleu! We spent a few nights in Portsmouth, NH, which is, by far, the most dog-friendly city I've come across.

We were parked within spitting distance of a huge dog park and pond on one side, and a five minute walk to a very vibrant and fun downtown.

Bleu is an incredibly social dog. He wants to play with every dog he sees and he loves all the people he meets. In turn, I have no choice but to be more social myself. Frankly, I am enjoying it more than I might have guessed!

As much as I loved Portsmouth, it was time to move on. I had heard about this beach in Maine where I could stay overnight and dogs are allowed on the beach after 6pm. I don't think Bleu ever saw a beach before, and it has been a while since I've seen the Atlantic as well, so I was excited to get here.

I wasn't counting on a thunderstorm!! I'd say we got approximately 10 whole minutes on the beach before the heavens opened up. In that short time though, Bleu managed to make a great new doggy friend, chase a bunch of seagulls and dive into a couple of waves. He had a blast.

We are back in the camper now. I've got the door open so I can watch the storm over the water. I love thunderstorms and I love the beach. I can't ask for anything more.
