I met a really nice woman today. I knew she was nice because of her smile. Not the smile she gave me when we introduced ourselves (although that smile was nice too), but the smile I just caught a glimpse of. I don't know if she was even aware of my existence yet, but as she got out of her truck she saw Bleu.

Bleu was just running around- leash free- being the silly puppy that he is and she smiled. It was a genuine, appreciative of simple joys, kinda smile. And it made me smile back, though she had no idea.

For privacy sake, I won't use your name, but I think you'll recognize yourself if you read this. I'm sincerely happy to have met you, and I hope we will cross paths again. 7 degrees of separation have become 5 and get smaller all the time.
