The Wild Wild West

Wow! I am in Southern Arizona and have completely fallen in love with this part of the country. There is so much to do and see I am finding it hard to keep up with myself! From stumbling upon the newly reopened to the public Mescal Studios ( where they filmed The Quick and the Dead, Gunsmoke, scenes from Little House on the Prairie and much more) to the upper and lower Tanque Verde Falls, a fabulous sunset over Mt . Lemmon with a friend from my old stomping grounds in NJ., a reenactment of the shootout at the OK Corral, a couple of surprisingly yummy wine tastings, the last few weeks have been nonstop. There has been no shortage of adventures for Bleu either...new doggy friends everywhere we go, tons of Jack Rabbit chasing opportunities and even a swim at a nude beach! I've met so many people, too. Some are full-time RVers like me, some are #vanlife, some are just on vacation or day trips. Sometimes I just have a quick chat, sometimes it becomes an hours long, soul sharing conversation and occasionally it is a day or more of connection. All scenarios add something special to this journey and to my life. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that things are good, very good. This journey is everything I had hoped for and more.
