No WiFi, no cell service and no TV reception...
Buts lots of wandering explorations.
I was without wifi, tv, and cell
service for quite awhile. While it was incredibly frustrating at first, I got used to it. In a way, it became kind of freeing.
Despite the lack of connectivity, I did manage to find my way to some pretty cool places. (Y'all remember paper maps, doncha?) Among other places, I finally got to see the bamboo forest in Alabama, I went to Point Mallard in Decatur and I spent lots of time in the Conecuh National Forest. After that, I made my way further South and explored the Ponce de Leon State Park. I don't know that the Fountain of Youth springs made me any younger, but they were pretty spectacular to look at!
Here are a few pictures for you.
